They don't even need to go that far. Like I said, if they have 24 hour security guards like the stores here have, the night shift usually will be the one to notice that a car hasn't moved in a while. They tend to recognize an out of place car amongst the night associates cars, if they are worth a hoot.

And for the record, my best friend that I grew up with since 2nd grade got himself addicted to meth and heroin and killed himself. I feal sorry for his family, but he brought it all on himself with horrible life choices he made, starting in high school

 

This is probibly going to make a lot of people mad. But since you brought up aids, I have to say that most cases of aids are contracted from bad life choices also. Most times it's contracted from either having unprotected sex with a partner that is unknown or can't be trusted, or for sharing needles for drug use. Both very bad choices and avoidable

 

I'm surprised the associates didn't notice all the people barfing from the odor.

When I was done and quit cold turkey, that was also my choice.

But then many of my family have cancer. Like my pops with brain cancer. I wonder if he could have just said "NO" like anyone can say to a drug.

Are they the same people, when they do some ####### act, they blame it on stupidty. Because it's a cancer and they wrecked because stupid is not curable.

Since you don't know what drove this person to seek refuge in drugs you have no right to call her a waste. She may have seen or been through things that would break anyone.

Maybe hold the snide remarks unless you fully know the facts.

as a former addict and father to an addict
it is no ones responsibility to look in cars for overdose victims
and there are plenty of days in the hell in our brains we wish a family member would pass so the pain has an end
it is a lot easier to be compassionate then to live that way
