I have Worked dirt in the Reno area for 15 years.
I worked at Lakeside for 3 years and everything you read true. I only received work about 5 months out of 12 and made less than 12,000 each year. They pay less hours to the driver on the daily report than they collect from the same days billings. If you resign without two week notice the company keeps your last paycheck. Working all the lowest paid newbies first while making the state of Nevada pay unemployment to his senior people. No seniority or employee number used they use people based on "status" witch they unfairly make up as they go along. A good performance does go unrewarded. They require you to have boots but break the law by not providing them. The supervisor, Tod runs heavy-haul trucks off a broker page with a few selected friends and family. Because of it's business practices the company is regionally regarded in a bad light and is not getting good work. I have 36 years clean award winning class A driving and I sat at home while they worked truck driving school graduates.
Thanks for reading my post.
