I64 at the il/in bridge crossing

So its not on the news yet afaik and i cant find anything. but there was just a massive wreck on I64 just past the 130 exit on the bridge. Apparently an oversize wreck caused a ton of damage and everything is shut down east bound for sure. Maybe westbound too. Im taking my 34 at the truckstop here and people are saying everything from a bridge colapse to multi car pileup and fire. The troopers are redirecting traffic as they are epecting the bridge to be shut for hours.

Again im on my 34 and thats just what the folks flooding the truckstop are saying and there is no news ive found yet. But if yiur coming this way id plan to bypass.

 

So i fired up my CB and asked wtf was going on once i got back to my truck here. Story comeing across the CB is some moron that appears to be an oversized load didnt slow down going into the construction zone on the bridge and plowed through stopped traffic. They ended up collapseing the divider walls and pushing traffic into the construction workers and equipment along with a bunch of other chaos and with added fires because why not

Again hersay so wait till we see the actual news story for confirmation. But thats whats coming across the airwaves here. They are saying early reports are bridge closed for 5 to 10 hours.

 

That looks like the one. Not sure why they were saying someone plowed into cars then. But then again thats why i said to wait for the news to confirm stuff. I trust the words on my CB as far as i can throw my fully loaded rig. While sleepingm
