    Yep if one knows in advance you can exit off the I-80 and go via Carson city last time i did it though they'd reopened the freeway, and everybody else had chosen to take the detour and it was crawl pace only. Shoulda just waited i guess.

    The highway is back open for the moment now..full chains required.. What is expected to get worse they're expecting up to 6' of snow by the end of Saturday
