I don’t fault you for refusing to pull it. Just sounds like you were working for a Clown company.
Personally I’d throw some money at a lawyer to send them a letter. First it’ll make them squirm and sweat and think twice about talking crap about you.
I believe that there’s a way to report them to the fmcsa..something along the lines of coercion..not sure exactly.Sons Hero, hope not dumb twucker, gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this. -
What would I put in the letter ?
-
Have a lawyer write the letter.
Threatening them with a wrongful termination suit. Or a defamation lawsuit if they post something to an employment agency.
Just enough to make them sweat. -
Is that a Chicago company by chance??
-
They can't fire you for refusing to do something illegal. That is wrongful termination lawsuit waiting for youNumb, hope not dumb twucker and Concorde Thank this.
-
I would not have pulled that pile of junk either...
hope not dumb twucker and Concorde Thank this. -
