picked up a trailer with a ton of ice and snow on top, wondering if there is a trick to getting it off. There was no snow blade around

After driving 2 days in Goliath I has 6000 lbs of snow and ice on the truck and trailer. Left North Dakota with a load of beans grossing 84,000. Instead of taking the recommended route to NC I headed dead south on 29 to Nashville and turned left on 40 to get it to melt and fall off. Thank goodness all the scales were closed for new years.

It's fairly rare but I know some truck washes offer snow removal service.

I doubt it. They have a firm corporate position on not removing ice and snow.

TA AND PETRO will remove snow at a few locations if not all of them. I've had some tell me no then I show them receipts from the previous times I've had it done. Shop rate 30 minute minimum.

Well worth it after the $1500 ticket I got in NJ before they actually had a regulation for snow. They hit me with a "loading so as to spill" ($75) which has nothing to do with snow. They changed it to "snow or ice coming off causing injury or damage ($1500) when I called them out on it. I showed up and had it thrown out. No injury, no damage, GFYS.

cost me $400 for a lawyer and 1/2 days work.
