Is that decent routing. To go east toward Wisconsin.
I've not been on that patch of those roads before. That I can remember.
I know I did not want to try running Teton pass 30,000 gross limit road.
Idaho Falls roads outbound US 26 to US 89??

Take 26/89/191 to Rock Springs, Wy, hop on I80 and blast east young driver.
D.Tibbitt, striker, rabbiporkchop and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've been through cokeville stretch of 30, and some 191 all the way along Yellowstone.
Thanks for the heads up.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Good road. I drive it nearly every week. Pretty mountainous, but lots of scenery. Stop at the Ranch Hand truck stop on Montpelier if you’re going down that way to I80, and have their chicken fried steak. Has to be top 3 I ever had, and I eat them at a lot of places. 26 to 189 to 191 is alright too.
D.Tibbitt, rabbiporkchop, DTP and 1 other person Thank this. -

Take US 26 all the way across the state to Casper... Then you can choose weather to jump north to I-90 or continue on US 26 to get on I-80 at Ogalalla, NE.
I have run US26 from Idahofalls to Casper many times all year round... This time of year it is a beautiful drive... Just make sure you dont miss the truck route in Jackson, WY or you might get stuck trying to make a tight left hand turn in bumper to bumper traffic, and wall to wall tourists on foot. But the traffic is only bad in jackson itself... Out of town its smooth sailing.D.Tibbitt and Intothesunset Thank this. -
This is the exact route I run in the truck... Just tell google maps to search "Idahofalls to Casper"
Intothesunset Thanks this. -
