My husband and I drive team for IDC. If we hadn't Gotten into the RPM division we wouldn't have stayed with them because of lack of miles. Overall they are one of the better companies to work for. They get us home when we need to be and any issues with the truck as far as repairs are always taken care of in a timely manner. Keep in mind that a recruiter will always tell you what you want to hear.

wow this driver thinks world some how this co owes him something; sorry to burst his bubble but idc don't owe you a thing but a job that you should be glad to have' but it seems that you need a local job so that way you can be home every night. my god these drivers that i read about on here blows my mind to what they seem the co needs to bent over for them. well buddy you won't find any co that will do that.

They kicked me when I was down on my luck too. I got injured on the job, and the doctors told me to have a surgery first before they would see me for treatment for other injuries. So, I called Interstate and told them this, even telling them when and where my surgery was. When I was wheeled from the operating room to my recovery room, my phone rang. It was the woman I spoke to to tell her that i was having this surgery first on doctor's orders, telling me that because I had an unauthorized surgery they cancelled my worker comp payments, and all the rest of the other things the other doctors were supposed to do on the other injuries. They left me high and dry, homeless from December 2007 to now and living in my pickup truck, not able to function because of injuries. At least I have the truck. I am still being treated for the injuries, and my pleas for an attorney to help me went unanswered because everyone is afraid of Interstate. A law firm that successfully sued IDC for a former driver now works for them. Isn't that a breach of law ethics?

Interstate? Please reconsider. They are terrible, they play games, especially when you need their help on something, like the trash they pulled on me when my mom died, how they sent me in the wrong direction after I had already confirmed load that was supposed to get me home. My experience with them is riddled with mistreatment and harassment, and now they can't pay their drivers. Go with Scneider, Swift, or JBHunt.

I been with idc for almost and year now I run the reefer side and things have been great till about 3 weeks ago the freight has just stopped they say..... I'm use to running 3000 miles a week and now I can't get over 1000 miles a week I been sitting so much these last few weeks and any other idc drivers in the same boat I'm in? I'm getting to the point I'm going to quit soon it this keeps up I got bills to pay. And this ain't doing it. .... idc has been great to me but I need miles!!!

The best bet is to go away as fast as you can to another company. IDC has fallen and it can't get up. Don't delay. Call JbHunt or someone. IDC hasn't been able to pay their O/O's since June 2010 and can't pay their regular drivers since about 2 months ago... The embezzlement case is coming to light now, I hear, and they'll be shut down shortly. Get a job somewhere else, QUICKLY.
