    Personally, I would probably locate in Texas.
    No state income tax, and a lot of produce comes across the border. I'd probably look around San Antonio area.

    That way, when produce season comes, you can head out west to grab a load, and be able to stop by the house on occasion during the busy season.
    Or you can go to the border to grab a load, or both.

    Maybe I'm wrong. But Texas seems like the best place to me.

    regardless of where u live, you can incorperate in any state(and not have to do business there).

    so take advantage of the best $ sheltering strategy u see fit. you can also do business in any states.

    When I pulled a reefer down to Florida I never had a problem finding a produce load going back up north.

    This is true. The McAllen/Edinburg area is a perfect place for a reefer outfit.
