That's interesting what you're saying because most of the hhg trucks that I see are pretty big long wheelbase set forward axle crappy turning radius trucks.

Yeah, I met one driver from Ohio who pulled up in an Argosy, it looked like a spaceship to us movers who are much more used to seeing super sleepers.

If you're not going to be all-out living on the road though, I'd say the guy with the Argosy has the right idea.

Well with most movers they stay out for the moving season and then go home so. Could be out for 4-5 months. It's also nice to have a shower after loading to feel like a human being

Been thinking and reading on this more. Of course, there's a lot of debate on these kind of topics in the trucking world and a lot of personal preference factors to take into account.

But from what seems to be objectively agreed upon, here's what I've come up with so far:

Freightliner: #1 in cheap parts, service availability
    Volvo: Sharpest turns
    Mack/Freightliner/Volvo: Best fuel efficiency

Does that sound about right to everyone?

Can't say I see a lot of Macks pulling van line trailers, wonder why?

So is that a suicide box with a small sleeper, or is that whole back section part of the suicide box sleeper?

Suicide box??? It's a drom box. It's not part of 5he sleeper at all. It's for adding more room for shipments
