Surprised no eagle eyes noticed the broken lower bracket? Had to ride home the last 1,000 miles with some heavy duty zip ties holding it on there o_O You gotta love old trucks but I still wouldn't trade it for a new one, especially one with a payment :D

Lol.. comon now I know you have limped a truck home before. The scales in FL always seem like ghost towns and usually just roll me on thru the bypass side when I'm empty, which luckily they did again, and GA scales close up at beer thirty weekdays and never open on the weekends so it was good thru there too. And the money I saved not getting it done somewhere out there on the road bought a brand new (not reman!) air dryer and LOTS of beer.

    wichris and jamespmack Thank this.

Not mine yet. But I have ratchet strapped fuel tanks on with broken straps. I just wasn't alarmed! Once welded a crank pulley and damper on a BC. Engine was worn out, truck was loaded. SEND IT!

I would never do something like that. LOL Well, maybe once. Early 80's, limped a loaded car carrier from Vegas to Kingman with all the brakes caged in the middle of the night. And had to do a slow roll across the scales at the port.
