    Not sure what parts you would need to change a simple setting in the computer. I would think it would be about a 15 minute job..

    $125 and takes about 15 min.

    Idle timers are set up and installed for a reason.

    If this is your truck and you wanted it turned off, it would be off allready.

    On my Volvo I can put it on fast idle, and it won't shut down. Just hit "cruise" and bump up the "+" a hundred rpm or so.

    Lol someone wants to take you for a ride then. 90% of those charges are not even pertinent to changing an ECM parameter. If someone's trying to tell you its a 3 hour, $2000 deal, they are a ####ing idiot. Plain and simple.

    Its a simple parameter change. Should take 15 minutes. Literally plug in computer, change whatever parameters you want adjusted and unplug the laptop.

    I'd like to know who charges $2k for a parameter change? Especially charging for a reset and parts????? That is surely a shady place EVERYONE should avoid.

    I have done this many times on our 60 series. Takes longer for the laptop to boot than changing the parameter.
