Not sure what parts you would need to change a simple setting in the computer. I would think it would be about a 15 minute job..

Idle timers are set up and installed for a reason.

On my Volvo I can put it on fast idle, and it won't shut down. Just hit "cruise" and bump up the "+" a hundred rpm or so.

Its a simple parameter change. Should take 15 minutes. Literally plug in computer, change whatever parameters you want adjusted and unplug the laptop.Last edited: Oct 24, 2020

I have done this many times on our 60 series. Takes longer for the laptop to boot than changing the parameter.
