Just to give you a slight rundown on some of the details of this… The Arkansas trooper was flagged down because the truck which was from Mexico by the way was tailgating another vehicle… The driver had no logbook electronic Or paper, fake trailer tags and also, no DOT numbers on the truck either andwas also Clocked doing 55 mph in a 70s zone…

 

Exactly like your headline says. The illegal, Abrego-Garcia who was sent to El Salvador from Maryland. He was illegal and ordered deported in 2019, 2 judges ruled he was MS-13. Lost an appeal. Frickin has MS 13 tattoos on his hand in the picture with US Senator Van Hollen. In 2022 he was pulled over in Tennessee while driving from Texas to Maryland. Had 8 others in the vehicle saying they lived at the same address he did. Was driving on a suspended license and only got a warning. **** illegals were getting free passes.

So ill just say this, regardless of your stance on politics. The fact he wasnt in cuffs is B.S. hell the fake tags alone are a misdemeanor that could would and should have put him OOS right there and likely gotten his truck impounded. Combined with everything else? Absolutely. And the fact he wasnt sitting in a cruiser is an absolute failure on the part of the cop.

 

iirc, the trailer was good but the truck was supposedly bought in Chicago but it had fake Texas temp tags.

Trooper said he sees exponentially more fake temp tags from Texas than any other state.

We exchanged phone numbers than he got in the car and left right away. Once cops came for police report he disconnected his phone number.
Think the truck got towed ? Hell no. He came in the middle of the night and drove off.

luckily I have an air tag on his truck so I’ll be paying him a visit.

Depending on state requirements where this was at it’s likely they don’t require a dot number for logs since logs are likely an exempt commodity. And if they don’t cross state lines they don’t need IFTA.

But I agree with everything else. Some of the worst trucks I’ve seen in the road were hauling logs in the south. And yes, Ike is an idiot.
