Planning on going through the CR England program but questioning the decision based on the volume of negative postings and reviews.
I take forum postings with a grain of salt but definitely include forum reviews as part of the due diligence process.
I figure more people post after a bad experience then a positive one but there seem to be predominantly negatives when it comes to CR England.
I was hoping to source a good method of obtaining a CDL with minimum out of pocket. A year of commitment is not a problem so long as it’s possible to make a reasonable wage during that time.
I Would be going to Utah for training
Just apprehensive as to putting myself in a #### situation and regretting making the commitment especially after reading some reviews beforehand.
my question is for some drivers out there who have been through this.
What would you do? I see lots of suggestions not to go with CRE.
If not CRE then what?
What are some good alternatives to going with CRE?
If CR England is as bad as it sounds, what then?

Where do u live? Uo in utah u can go to prime, and pride is also up there. Both of those are 100 times better than cringlend..... Good for u to do some due dillegence on companies, most guys just sign the dotted line then complain when they get screwed. ... @Chinatown can help ya get started with some companies that will give u the training u need and keep u out of the cr england misery

Even Swift is a better bet the CRE.

Stay here in town and get your CDL,
Why would you go out of state to obtain this, especially at a bottom feeder like CRE? -
Agree with all the above posts. Swift is a better choice.
Prime Inc. also trains in Salt Lake City.
How close are you to Phoenix or Tucson? -

This school will finance the tuition and first payment isn't due until 45 days after graduation.
Some companies will hire you from that school and reimburse the tuition back to you in monthly installments. You can use that money to repay the school.LoSt_AgAiN, bzinger and Bakerman Thank this.
