If your running in the city with an emissions truck, you'll have all kinds of problems. The city driving gets the dpf clogged faster, and you'll have to do more parked regens

    Emissions trucks are 2017 Macks.
Non emissions trucks are Caterpillar powered 1991 to 1994 kenworths.

1 local daycab that is a 2011 non DEF but has a DPF so 07 emissions Cummins ISM12.

    1 2013 with 2010 emissions ISX15

    4 - 2014 with 2013 emissions ISX15

    1 - 2018 with 2017 emissions X15

    1 - 2019 with 2017 emissions X15

The 2011 has always been 200 mi or less radius. Sometimes does only picks and drops and sometimes goes out.

1 or 2 of the 2014’s have ran local only for periods of time with no problems. The 2013 has done some local only but mostly has done tons of daily round trips within 200 miles and regional.

    Hope that helps.

My ISX is all self regen. The regen button does nothing. It's all automatic. It just does it more often in the city. Usually lasts about 8 minutes.

    I figure there's 3 options.

    1) Cry and whine about it.
    2) Ignore it.
    3) Learn how to make it work as best you can.

Colorado probably won't adopt clean air rules unless they get a new governor. There was a giant push against prop 112 from oil and gas companies, and the governor said that if the people voted to enact that law then he would probably call a special session to override it. A new law for clean air would play out almost identically.

I heard about it from my partner, so she might not have explained it to me properly. But if they're saying that pickups and SUVs will need to be 36mpg or something by 2026 or whatever year, I don't think it will matter. People will register as a farm vehicle or something that will get them an exemption. Trucking companies will claim their grandchildrens' inability to roll coal will make the entire state poor starting yesterday. 9 out of 10 pickup trucks will have bumper stickers with "say no to clean air" or something to that effect.

Well... They can get close to that I guess. Put a small 1.5l 4 banger in and call the vehicle with a pickup shaped body a pickup. Never actually be able to do any real work, but hey that hippster can now be cool and drive a "pickup"
