For now on if they do not have this information I will tell them to kick rocks. It seems impossible to find this information on a company unless they have it with regular insurance. Be warned as this is a trick of the trade so they do not have to pay up without a law suit.

I have yet learned another lesson in life to never trust anyone or any business. This is a pretty sad thing to say as I pride myself in being an honest human and try to give A+ Business to anyone that I do work for. I will set this company out when it is all said and done. If in Miami FL be warned of a company that has bad reviews regardless if it is about cars. It is also a decent size company and not a little one truck operation.

For the record I did not look up the tow company but a Volvo dealer out of Miami FL gave me the number. Sometimes you cannot trust anyone in buisness.

That is a huge price to pay! Do they have insurance at all?

Yes they do or they could not operate under DOT. The thing is that normal insurance does not cover anything on the vehicle being towed. This is insurance they have to purchase and as far as I know is not a mandate for them to have a license to Tow. This blows my mind as O/P have to have cargo insurance per Feds.

Anyways yes they do have Garage/ On Hook insurance but you cannot find it if it is not on the same GL Insurance policy under Safer.

To add on to this: I have found that a lot of the shady Tow Companies try to do this same thing and hide the Garage/On Hook insurance company they use. They will use one insurance for GL and another for Garage/ On Hook Policy

File a claim with your insurance ... they will subrogate to the tow company. This is like the 10 millionth thread you've started with this. We get it, you're upset.

Not sure what you are asking? I was charged a rate that was ok to do the work. They ruined my transmission when towing the truck without removing the drive shaft. They have been very shady in not giving me the insurance information and will not talk or communicate. I have now filed with my insurance company and they will go after them and I have an attorney for the downtown loss.

So ignore the thread. Only trying to warn people on this as I have not seen anyone post this before. If you are an owner operator I would want to know the tricks of how people do shady stuff to screw you over. If you are not an owner operator then I am sure you could careless. Hint the reason it is under owner operator forum.

See that would have helped in post #1.

Downtown must be extra bad there.
    Good luck in that lawsuit.

When you order up your next truck, get the 18 speed.
