... apparently we would, too. Stace and I are now officially of the O/O world. Picked up the truck yesterday and she's sitting in the driveway. Still need to buy a trailer, file more paperwork and load our stuff into the truck, so our owner operator experience so far is limited to looking out the door every 15 minutes to admire the truck. That's going pretty good though.

So far this o/o stuff is pretty easy. :biggrin_25525:

Just give it time, instead of admiring it out your window, the hood is going to be up and you'll be turning wrenches to get it ready for that monday delivery but best of luck to you

    Thanks, Luis.

Stace is already making plans to spend the entire day cleaning on that thing... can't remember the last time I saw her so excited and worked up about cleaning.

Course I shouldn't laugh... I was actually searching "chrome polishing" last night for some pointers. :biggrin_2559:

Do the wheels look polished? Give it a wash. No acid. Usually they just require a touch up. A quick polish with zephyr pro 40 which is the best polish out there. Easy on easy off. I do my dad's wheels by hand since there already polished but they go dull after a while. A 30 minute polish should have them looking good. Use a clean rag wipe it down with a microfiber rag after the wash. Do not use dish soap use a truck wash or something similar.

Are u running under your own authority? if so what kind of trailer are u guys pulling? if its not atleast a step deck flatbed u are nuts. double drop would be real good for ya. specialized/ oversize. if u plan on pullin a van, plan on failing fast. mr. broker aint gonna get u nething that pays halfway decent. get onto the logistics side of a big company if ur gonna run van, pull their trailers and freight. u may have to put up with some company policy bs but its worth it if u own ur truck. u will fail tryin to pull van on ur own. just being honest, trying to help.
