I'm still waiting for the first semi drive through at Crispy Cream doughnuts. I've yet to see one within walking distance of truck parking.

    those donuts are over-rated.

the once local...now long gone CC, had a line out the door and around the corner. (so much for sales, and donuts, i'd say)

the D/D across the street....?? all the parking and quick walk in service..

i wait for no food, food waits for me....

Yeah I agree they are over rated. Small local shops make better ones, but there is something about a CC glazed hot off the cooker that's tough to beat.

true, i did manage ONCE to get inside for one off the cooker, all melted glazing and all....kinda messy, and i had no wet wipes in the car at the time, now i always have a full box of them...lol

but in the end, a donut is a donut, they are all high calorie, high fat, and the fried ones don;t do me any good for my cholesterol....

i found it easier to just velcro them to my hips and stomach..

    SteveScott and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

My wife loves that place, I don't care for it. The one on Kennedy Blvd in Tampa has a drive thru that will back up a 1/4 down the road. I don't get it... it's ####ing donuts. Sit in line for 45mns for donuts....not this guy either. The hot donuts are good but I think that's just because it's out of the norm, the regular donuts they have there aren't any better than Dunkin donuts in my opinion. Love @SteveScott said you can find some great ones at small bakeries. There is a lil place in Tampa that makes a bunch of crazy donuts that don't always sound appealing on paper but they are awesome.

many times, no matter the D/D dounts that i buy, i put them in the nuclear reactor for a few short seconds....

darned great all warmed up, and if i do a double chocolate...i ##### about it, since i STILL FORGET to get a wet paper towel to wipe my face...!!!
