A class five is for cars and 2 axle trucks. the class 1 is equivalent to a CDL
but are still provincially regulated . Just to be confusing other provinces have different names , but I THINK the western provinces are the same
Class: 1 any combination of motor vehicles except motor cycle
2 single unit busses
3 three axle trucks can not pull air brake trailer
4 taxi
5 2axle vechicles
6 motorcycle (is added to other classes ie 1-6 3-6 )
1,2,4 require medical test
1 includes air brake
2,3,4,5 can have air brake indorsement
