How did you get your cdl?
-
Most of these companies require you to work for them after schooling/ training usually 9months to a year to complete your financial obligation.UsualSuspect Thanks this. -
Swifts contract requires minimum 12 months, so yes, you would have to pay for the schooling. Also, they will not verify to another company that you went to school with them until it's paid. It sucks but you may have to go through school again if you leave without honoring the contract.
KB3MMX, Mike2633, Lepton1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Does the 12 month clock start from day 1
Or is 12 from the time you get your own trk and on solo status. -
If you found a better company then maybe they'll pay Swift to buy you out of your contract.
