If you attended Swift schooling then read your contract all your questions you may have are in the contract.Otherwise ask swift or your mentor.

Why in the He!! are you quitting while with your mentor, anyway? You've made it this far. If you don't get along, request ANOTHER mentor. There are good and bad trainers EVERYWHERE!

If you are quitting the CDL process altogether, okay I get it.. no advice on the $ part, though.

If you don't have the moxie to hang out with a trainer "at all" for any period of time; then this career / industry is probably not for you, man.

If you have a decent mentor, you should be ready at the time that phase IS over. If you are not comfortable with him/her, request another, the sooner the better.

Additionally, I'm pretty sure Swift (as do MANY companies,) will give you extra time with your mentor, if you don't feel (or HE doesn't feel) you are ready to go solo.

Best of luck, man. We ALL started somewhere. Hang in there.

You think Swift's contract was "we'll pay for your school but you don't have to work for us?" If they paid for your school you owe them a year of work or the cost of the school. Read your contract. NOBODY offers free school.

Think he's gonna stay. As I stated, if you can't handle a Swift mentor for a few months..... good luck with any OTHER's.

    Good decision
Sticking it out is the right thing to do
Besides them contracts are written by lawyers doubt theres many loopholes
