Yep, part of driving, mine has rarely been busted by someone going the same way, as the rocks are actually going that way too, I do not like them hitting the shoulder though. Around here a busted windshield is just a part of life, and I have replaced a lot of them, luckily truck windshields are cheap and relatively easy to replace.

This from the guy with a w900a. Seems very ironic. I'm guessing you only plan on driving the w900 in parades?

Aint worried about rocks off those wheels. If they are small enough to fly no worries. Now sometimes certain rocks are big enough to be able to see that the next bounce it takes at highway speed will punch your windshield and take your jaw off. You evade as necessary.

My last big rock punched my COE steel door panel under my window on the drivers side. Left a bare metal dent about 5 inches wide and a inch deep, my side window was up so it did not get shattered. The company repainted it, pulled dent and fixed the internals and I was good to go to work the next day.

What you do always without fail is check the bridges above your travel lane make sure you do never pass under anyone where possible. Once in a while cinder blocks fall from up there into your face. Ending your life and maybe that of others.

That's how we used to get rid of tailgaters.
Drift to the shoulder and dust em with tiny flecks of dirt and stone.

90% of the time i get a broken windshield from people coming the opposite direction on a two lane. they just dive over fog line into the rocks when they pass.... I can stay centered in my lane or hug the fog line, no difference. :(
