If someone has pending felonies and is on probation, is there a trucking company

In my driving career, I did 1099 work 2 times. BOTH times they did such an extensive background check I was waiting for an anal probe. One even checked my credit score. When I worked for the recovery company (repo man) they would not even interview me until the NAC came back. This NAC was similar to the one the Air Force ran on me in the 70s. I'm not at liberty to disclose why this was needed. I know of another 1099 company that also checks backgrounds, besides part 391 requires some checks.

 

Because someone that is illegally employing someone on a 1099 is so concerned about all the other laws....

 

Sheesh, I know three 1099 companies that will dang near let you start the same day

 

And if given time I could list maybe 25 more. The problem is the list of non-1099 carriers that are just as loose with part 391 is just as long. I'm not trying to start anything. The FMCSA and the States have been fighting this problem now for decades.

 

In my experience, methheads are the scum of the earth. And based on my observations, most people who use meth use it because it temporarily cures their depression.

I have encountered numerous people who abused meth, and every single one of them exhibited a decline in their personal morality.
