Yeah conflicts of interest are just business as usual in Congress. There's what 535 of them in the house and Senate? I think 1 out of 4 of those is a multi-millionaire getting richer every day - we're talking about long term "career" politicians here.

Thanks for the link. As far as the media goes, I retired two years ago after 26 years in the media. Not all of it is bad despite the mainstream view propagated by (who else?) politicians. I made a living in my twenties dethroning local politicians who were straddling the line, accepting illegal kickbacks and donations, engaging in unethical behavior and much more. I still have some connections but none in Pa. otherwise I would drop a dime that way. Most of my connections are in California and Florida but not all media is beholden to politicians. As a driver, if I lived in Pa. I would be hounding Cartwright's office along with the other co-sponsor from that state.

I did not know about this.

This enrages me so much that I actually sent an email to my favorite radio talk show host. No, it's not Rush Limbaugh. Although he cracks me up.

I almost contacted this Representative by email as well, but did not have the guts. I'd probably have the FBI or CIA show up at my door from what I would have written.
