What is a tractor head?
-
police can go inside your cab anytime they want because you operate on a public highway it's a federal regulation even if you say no they will still trying to get in.
-
is it constitutional to get in?? i mean if i drive my own vehicle on public highways , thye cant get in if i dont allow or without a warrant!!! i own my company , my truck and i rent my trailer , the only thing is public is the load i think!! so is it legal for them ?

Their going to do what their going to do but in my opinion never consent to a search.Personal vehicle or Commercial vehicle
-
Refuse and then they get a warrant. Guess where you are sitting while they do it. -
drive your own vehicle doesn't mean you are not under federal law regulation, driving a cmv on a public highway is subject to search at anytime for any reason with or without warrant, the load is public and the highway is public.
-
All they need is probable cause to go in and refusing a search gives them probable cause. It's not right but that's the way the pigs operate!

As noted by HOT H2O If they have " PROBABLE CAUSE " they can search any vehicle without the operators approval or a warrant.
