Sounds like someone got in over their head and now wants to blame someone else for their own poor life decisions. One is ill advised to start a business (you did realize you were starting a business when you signed the lease agreement, right?) without sufficient capital to smooth out cash flow ripples during the start up phase. Trucking on a shoestring isn't easy. Consider yourself fortunate that you were able to exit without owing a debt. Congratulations, you're another Darwin award winner in the business world!

So you decided to try and buy a job? Why couldn't you just get a company driver job somewhere? Plenty of trucking companies in your area that you could have a job with tomorrow morning if you wanted it.

Some just want to say the TRUCK is theirs for some reason , let it be lease . lease to own or financed.

Had a young guy in this morning looking for a job , 1st thing he asked is "DO YOU LEASE TRUCKS" , I asked do you have $10,000.00 in your bank account , his reply was No I do not , told him that was my reply as well regarding LEASING him a truck.

My son has bought a few USED tractors from PRIME and so far they have been good trucks , nice and clean , decent if not new rubber and no mechanical or electrical problems.

I can understand that. Unfortunately when you lease through the company you own nothing. Now, if a guy wants to buy a truck and lease on with a company, that is another matter.

I wish I had known all these geniuses before I went to Prime then I would have known it was my fault the criminals stole my money before hand. That is the funny thing about a lot of truckers they are so smart after the fact but they have nothing to share before something like this happens. It's amazing.

That pretty much reeks of a bait and switch to me. Unreal how these bandits (not just Prime, they are but 1 out of innumerable out there) get away with this horsesh#t....

Every bit of this information, good and bad, has been shared in the Prime forum here on TTR. Had you chosen to do some research, you too could have been as well informed as we are. And there, my friend, is the biggest part of the problem. Poor planning.

Just Like some of the drivers that complain the most about not making any money wnt the runs handed to them no thinking or working involved and then complain when it didn't go as they were told it would

I wish I had known all these geniuses before I went to Prime Like many before you and countless others to follow , you find these FORUMS after the fact to GIVE your reasons / version of what went wrtong. Sad that so many do not do a bit of HOMEWORK before hand.
