Simple for me flatbed and flatbed only. My company runs Vans and flats, when flat gets slow and I have do van I really don't enjoy it. The only challage to a van is scaling out 80,000 and with my incab air gauge takes about 30 seconds.

Reefer, but they test for that now :D

Honestly, I would haul a dry van for the entertainment industry. No loading or unloading. :D

VAN, and ONLY VAN. I wish NOT to be tarping loads, filling up tanks, or waiting at food warehouses.

What is this testing for reefers you speak of?

    I never heard of such.

All grocery store products (tampons, shat tickets etc) move in a reefer in your world apparently. :biggrin_25512: :biggrin_25512: :biggrin_25512:

I've done them all but I would say van only. They don't have the midnight appt like reefer does. Not many tight grocery warehouses to deliver to and less lumper fees.

    What???

The "only time" I pulled a reefer, it was going to a grocery warehouse.

The stupid waiting times were not something I wanted to endure the rest of my life.

ALL other freight I hauled was electronics, cigarettes, liquor, machinery, paper (HUGE ROLLS)..tell me those are grocery store products again, will you?

I would just drive around empty! Oh wait that is what I do .

I guess I would just keep delivering empty trailers like I have been doing since 1995!

Wow thanks guys. What a myriad of answers this thread has received. I have been reading a lot of these forum post and I got the idea that everyone seemed to want to run flatbeds. It seems like tarping could be the only exercise I may get in this business.
