If you could start in this industry all over again, how would you do it?

Don't feel bad....I went to CRE!

I simply would have asked more and better questions, though some of the complaints about CRE now didn't apply back in the mid 90s.

....and some did!

 

I started with Swift, so I'm right there with you guys. At least it was back in the late 90's.

 

Hundeds of companies will hire you, but may be required to take a refresher course. Some companies have their own refresher course, for a fee. panther4me will hire with no experience at all. The best money is tanker/hazmat & 2nd best is reefer.

 

If I had it to do over, I would get into tanker/hazmat as early as possible. Unlike many other drivers, I would spend my whole career OTR.
