Brandt, have you heard of the TuneIn radio app? There is a free version with plenty of talk options.

My mother thinks I’m a piano player in a Nevada whorehouse.
If she knew what I have done driving a chicken truck for years and then graduating to a hazmat tanker for the last 20 years, she would die of heart failure after she disowned me. :(

Yeah but 20 dollars an hour now is basically poverty level in any major city with $1800+ in rent every month..

    i dunno about that..

i am on SSDI, and Medicare just took off one of my drugs and put it onto Tier 3 meaning now i have a co-pay....not much like under $150, for 90 days.... but it WAS $0 co-pay..>!!!

when i called my BC/BS carrier for assistance in paying for it..??

i was told...... "you're getting too much SSDI to qualify for any help".....

i'm like....WTF.....i'm getting too much SSDI...??

like when does ANYONE on SS let alone SSDI, get paid too much..??

so i think $20 per hour, set's THAT person in a higher tax bracket/income, than me......

and yeah, i own my own home, with the bank of course, and yes, rents here "can be" starting at $1,500 and up per month, so that high rent is nearly every where nowadays.

Meh. I can rent an apartment here for $600 and a house for $900. Fast food is paying $14 to start, the grocery store is paying $15. Both have shortages of applicants.

Honestly 20 bucks an hour ain't #### anywhere in USA and hasn't been for years. Major city or rural city. It may be ok for someone living solo, but for a family? That's a struggle. You got more expenses these days than income. It's a reason why there's record setting debt.

Yes they do. And they always will...its not enough money. People are making that, or more working remotely. They need to pay more to sway these people.

The people making that remotely have skills and qualifications beyond a GED. And these positions start at that wage for a 90-day probationary period, then go above $15. My wife works at the grocery in product management and started last year at $18 while on probation with no prior grocery experience...
