Well, the poll is just trying to find out what you would do if you had to. I'd sure like to hear from someone with as much experience as you. Either way, thanks for your reply.

I didn't mean to infer that the post was just for the benefit of newbies and wannabes. I'm just trying to find out which companies have the best reputation in the industry. If the poll continues to have the response it has had I will drop the bottom runners and add some other companies to the poll and start all over again.
    Thanks for your interest,

Oh, come on, vote for the "best of the worst" in your opinion!

I've hear about too much "bait and switch" at JB Hunt.

I'm too old and broke down up to chain, so Rhoel is out of the question. Plus, they are having money problems.

Prime runs reefers to big grocery houses. Done that, swore never again. Things at Prime are changing fast, whether for better or worse is yet to be seen. I've read the trucks are being turned down to 57. Add in forced dispatch.

Werner pays too little, and doesn't seem to have a lot of miles.

If you can get a good dedicated at Swift, they may be best............... I can't believe I said that.

Thank you to every driver who has participated in this poll so far. If the interest continues I'll make some changes. I'll add some new companies to the poll and drop off the "losers". Problem here is I'll have to ask you to respond again as the new poll will only be valid if the new companies are are judged against the companies that have survived the first poll.
I have time to do this and hope the end result gives good direction to the wannabes, newbies and experienced drivers out there.
Again, thanks to all who have participated,

I said Rhoel was having money problems. I wish to correct that. I don't know about Rhoel and their money. I was thinking of TMC. By the post of their drivers, it seems they are.

Talk to Texas-Nana about Swift. She and her husband are new drivers, and seem to be really happy there.

I'd like to talk to Nana but her #### PM box is full. I would certainly value her opinion!

She's usually in the LADIES FORUM. Just find her there and hijack the thread.

Lot of folks have been kicking # oldnewbie about this poll.

From my view I figure it's their poll, let them ask what they want in search of an answer they might benefit from.

Also I want to point out, oldnewbie has a pretty good attitude working for him/her, taken the kicks in stride & always has a pleasant response. This kind of resilience should serve them well in the trucking industry.

The pumpkins have asked why their company wasn't included so if you have another company in mind why not state your case for them?

Personally I'm not interested in working for any of these companies but took the question as a lessor of evil type survey.
