Not enough choices.
Oh and I don't care for PMs sending me to topics.JustSonny Thanks this. -
Well RT,
What I'm hoping for is information that not only helps wannabes and newbies but that also might help other drivers. The focus of the poll is to capture, in a single poll as best as possible, the somewhat unified feelings of enough drivers to make the poll valid and useful. If the poll continues to draw interest and can be expanded to include numerous companies, then it might serve as an archive that can be referred to by anyone in the industry. I know this sounds like a grandiose plan but I didn't start it with any prescribed intent other than to somehow capsulize a far flung topic. We'll see what happens! I might get the door slammed in my face but right now I just happen to have the time to do this. Thanks again for your interest,

I didn't read 8 pages of posts but olnewbiewannabe pay attention to how much experience posters have . I'm surprised Schneider rated near the bottom because they have some good jobs , especially the tanker fleet . They are also getting some good dedicated runs like taking over freight for Emerson Electric . I wouldn't work for them but many aren't qualified to get a position like mine .

Also I can't figure Shneider out? what are their company trucks set at, I see some averaging 60 and some blowing my doors off
and Prime?.....uggh, "not me, not never" 62 is slow enough
almost leased with JB, I would like to thank some people here and other drivers I know for talking me out of thatLast edited by a moderator: Nov 25, 2009

I'd sooner work in a warehouse than any of those outfits, but......I hear Roehl isn't half bad so thats how I voted...
The OP should have put Millis in there also, I started out with them back in 1993 and they sucked..I would guess they still hire n00b's.. -
I know someone who has been with Werner for 20 years, he seems happy, I have never looked into Roehl

Thanks Rick,
One of your fellow moderators, at my request, added Schneider to the list. I had gotten several replies questioning why they weren't on the list to start with. All I could say is that I didn't want the initial list to be too cumbersome. Now that they (Schneider) are on the list anyone who cares to participate can vote for them.
I don't know where this poll is going, and I sincerely hope that it proves useful, but as I've said in a couple of posts, I have the time and the inclination to continue as long as comments are favorable.
I know you're busy and I sincerely appreciate your willingness to give direction,

I was spammed regarding this poll. Hmm. Where's the ignore button?
Roehl, Werner, and TMC pre-hired me. I talked on the phone to a Werner recruiter and thought if the recruiter was that rude, the employees would be even worse. Saw TMC's history of pushing log falsification and underpaying on here and so I'm at Roehl. But they never get me home when they say they will, so I'm looking elsewhere.JustSonny Thanks this.
