I'm heading to swift the week after Christmas. I'm not really sure why I chose them and I'm still not 100% sure. I applied at a lot of company's that pay for school. My head was swimming by the time I was done. Each one has things I like and don't like, I was looking at CR England because they are running a program right now that your obligation to them is only 6 months. Even their policy of running team scares me. If you happen to like the co-driver, great, but if you don't get along or even if you do its still a small space for two adults. Flip side of that coin is if you get into areas or cities where as a newbie your nervous about you have a partner to help out. You have a spotter if need be while backing. That would be the biggest reason for them. I go back and forth, privacy or companionship? 6 months isn't very long in the scheme of thing.... I may be talking myself back to CRE. :biggrin_25523:

I will not pretend to know any differences between the two. I will tell you my experience with Swift and you can also read my other posts.

Hometime is my number 1 issue. I get home every other Friday and stay until Sunday night / Monday morning. My first calendar year earnings were just over $34,000. Swift has treated me well and I plan on staying. 2nd year earnings should be around $40k - $42k.

I will offer this advise however. Whichever company you go with, people will say you are an idiot. Ignore them...get through the 1st 6 months (toughest part), have an open mind and most of all....BE SAFE.

    Good luck!
