Most new IC's talk a big game and lie through their teeth. I remember running into phase 2 trainers telling me that they were taking home $2K a week and I would just laugh. After awhile their miles get reduced or they cannot handle the constant repairs and so on. Most seem happy at first then 6 months later they are turning their truck back in.

Even when my truck was payed off I would have to have about 5,600 miles turned in to get a $2K check as a phase 1 trainer. Way to many fixed costs as well as variable.

Perhaps you should go company if your happy with running that many miles for around 1000 dollars. I guess being an IC isnt for you either!!!!

You're not very good ... when I was running team at CRE with my son, we averaged 6K miles a week. 5K was a bad week.

Just because they put it in the contract, when they say they're going to crap on you, it doesn't mean it's good thing when it happens.

A pipe busted in our house Tuesday and flooded it. He came home this afternoon to help me move everything to storage, so now I'm gonna have to go with him till we can get another place and the teaming is gonna have to be put on hold for now.

Ugh! Sometimes it just pours even when it's not raining.

    Some hometime, huh?

It's not all bad. We can't leave till Monday cause of the reset so him, my mom and I are doing Thanksgiving Sunday and by 1pm tomorrow the house will be empty, cleaned and we should be back at my moms for the day. It'll be an interesting experience for sure!

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise, otherwise you probably wouldn't have gone with him. Maybe you just need that time together, so the universe gave you a "little" push. I'm all for silver linings : )
