    I just got this msg over the qual-com and is an itner company memo that involves anybody in the temp-controlled freight. The following is a word for word quote with names removed.
    FLEET MSG. WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY THE THEMO KING DEALER IN PHOENIX THAT THERE HAVE BEEN 31 FUEL LINES CUT ON REFRIDGERATION UNITS AT THE PILOT AND FLYING J TRUCKSTOPS IN PHOENIX. SO FAR NO (Name removed) TRAILERS HAVE BEEN INVOLVED BUT WANT YOU TO HAVE THIS INFO AS A HEADS UP. IF IN THAT AREA USE EXTREME CAUTION. THANKS (Name of V.P. removed)

    That would be very hard to catch, dark at night and in the shadows, I HOPE someone catches them and uses the dark and shadows to beat them to death.

    I can't figure out why someone would do that. There is no gain in it for the people cutting the lines -- all it does is cost the driver and the consumer if they ruin enough loads this way. Seems pretty senseless to me -- but then all vandalism and malicious destruction of property seems senseless to me.

    I've had my unit shut off twice by other drivers. They don't like the noise I guess...............

    Thats one thing to shut them down but tog and cut hoses.... no that ain't right

    I would assume they are cutting them and draining the fuel out. The lines on a refer tank come out the bottom of the tank don't they?

    speak rudely to a lot lizard, and see what happens. It doesn't happen everywhere...but these girls can cause a lot of damage...they will pull your kingpin out, mess with temp control settings, which I found out from Stevens Transport is an automatic federal offense; only problem is, the catching them part.

    I would agree. Also possible animal right activist too..
    I was out fishing once and they cut all my tires truck and trailer..
