raising exotic ducks and chickens never crossed my mind but now I'm fascinated by the idea. We had ducks and chickens when I was a kid. I'm gonna go look this up now.
If you retire, what is the first thing you would want to do??

I met Cheri when her husband Rick came here for treatment for Cancer. He was an amazing person. PHD anthropologist tenured at a major University in his 30's who left all of it to work with street kids in Africa. He died of the cancer about a year after I met him and Cheri went back to continue the work and build the farm. -
i drove my car the other day to minnesota, 1400 miles
it was weird not having to worry about fueling, or logging, its as if these rote actions are tattooed in my head
so retiring will be relaxing, for sure
i can drive the kids crazy and enjoy every minute -
Here's some of ours, a Polish, Sultan(almost endangered, we're helping it recover), Crested Pekin and a Silkie!!!!!!
Midwesttrucker, Ducks, pattyj and 3 others Thank this. -
1. Get some time in the wood shop that I have been putting off for years.
2. Teach my grand kids how to sail!
3. A little golf.
4. Spoil the hell outta my dogs all day long.texasbbqbest and EZ Money Thank this. -
Get myself an RV and Tiny my dog and I would do nothing but travel.Don't have to worry about any appt times. If I wanna drive only 50 miles not a problem then call it a day and find a nice rv park.Don't have to worry about that pesky weigh station being open.Do nothing but travel and won't have to worry about the company bugging me.I just wanna be stress free.I wouldn't do anything the G.Anthony wants to do but it would be very nice not having to worry about all the laws this industry has.

I already do it. Like Montrose said, "Get on your bad motor scooter and ride!"
had a a run planned for the fall 2014, to meet up with a group of drivers in Dallas and hit the 2 lane to the north rim of the Grand Canyon and then to Vegas. Stop at every one of those good food joints that they show on TV.
Unfortunately, in typical driver fashion, they all talked a big game, but they all backed out a week before we were to leave out. Knew they would. -
I would by a large rv and drive in the left lane all day long. And would do 5 to 10 mph below the speed limit. At night I would park at the truck stops.
buzzarddriver, pattyj, jungledrums and 2 others Thank this.
