My mother in law at the time died two days after she retired from the post office after 35 years. Sad when these things happen.

So after you retire, you're going to keep driving truck around the country?

I'm going to sit on my porch and read a book. Then going to go play with my dog. Then go ride my motorcycle. That's all I want to do

Two words: Synthetic urine. I would never smoke and drive truck but pee tests are super easy to beat.

Still have decades of work left so I can't even fathom retirement.

..but 30 or so years from now when I retire I'd probably tour the country in my 2045 flying Corvette.

That's not entirely true. While pre-employment tests for some companies may be easy to beat, DOT uses a much more complicated testing procedure. I knew someone that got busted on a DOT random using synthetic urine. Cracked him with a "false positive".

The folks that do the DOT tests have seen it all. You can't beat the test. If a driver feels the need to do so, that's not a driver I want sharing the road. Go clean or go home.
