I'm not going to quote the comments. Just attempt to ground some points about DAC/Hireright made back in reality. Yes, a broken mirror all by itself is not going to find its way into your DAC. Most carriers just keep these things internal. Here is the thing, though, as it relates to the question asked. If you were to proactively quit, quitting and the reason why might well find itself on DAC. It's also important to remember Hireright is not the only reporting service in the business AND CFR 391.23 MANDATES any carrier that hires you to check on your history and the FMCSA is serious about those inquiry records. What happens is that the carrier, most of the time, makes hiring decisions based on the summary.
Name
dates worked
reason for leaving
rehire status
By the act of quitting, YOU could make that broken mirror the reason. Not 100% for sure, it could happen, but if the carrier digs deeper, they may find it. Now for the good part. As long as you don't have a history of job hopping a broken mirror should not prevent you from being hired.
If you think you’re going to get fired is it worth quitting 1st

Tenth street (aka Driver's Pulse) just sent me a new document to sign... I was surprised because I don't need them anymore, I have the job already! When I looked at what it was, it was my consent for them to run my credit history. A credit check for no reason..I told them to piss off.
MACK E-6 Thanks this.
