A lot of what I’ve seen in reference to water and Frac is the use of fresh water. A water transfer crew starts at a fresh water source, runs reels of lay flat nitrile hose from the water source to wherever it’s going on the Frac.
If you’re gonna be hauling saltwater you’ll majority of the time be going to tank batteries, hooking up to a tank, pulling water off and taking it to a disposal.
Some have fancy digital gauges on the ground that read out how much water is in each tank so you’ll know how much is or isn’t there.
Other times you’ll go up to the top of the tank battery via stairs and a cat walk, pop the hatch and gauge it by hand. After that you’ll know how much water you can or can’t get out of it.
I don’t know how much you know about that so, there’s a very basic Barney style breakdown.
If I remember correctly 1 foot equals 20 barrels in those typical set ups and 42 gallons in a barrel.
If you want to work in the oilfield

I’m wanting to also get back healthier. That means mentally also. I spend too much time inactive now. Have run three marathons in my life. Am getting to where I’m just not paying attention. -
