The good thing is u will be able to choose where ya wanna run , the bad part is u responsible for all the bills and payments. And got to run to pay for truck and trailer... im sure u could work a little east coast gig out if u willing to take the jump.

 

Thats not bad at all. Landstar is a great place to get some skin in the game and get ur feet wet and learn the business . Not to mention they got freight just about everywhere...

1550 on 417
1216 on 374 (2 loads, both trucks) 4,600LBS
800 on 240 1500LBS.

Last 5 loads have been up that way. Came back empty everytime. Pff 400-500 coming back. There's a sucker every min getting "fuel money" on those.

Don't knock TQL, seriously. In the very beginning they cancelled 2x on us. Other than that smooth to deal with. We avoided them like the plague from reading all negative on here bout em. Almost exact opposite experience in my book. Was more than happy with their rates and didn't have to play Monty Hall with em.

Good to see somebody have good luck with tql... i have only worked with them a handful of times , they never seem to have good paying freight, atleast when im looking for loads...

 

I know on all miles for the round it's nothing to brag about but those 500 loads aren't going on the truck for 250+mi. No way. Time + stress = $$$ not worth it for measly bs.

 

foster hill runs a lot of NE regional up to Maine and down to pa/ny, dong know what they pay though, he has some lease trucks and a brokerage iirc

 

Holy #### did you run into that storm yesterday afternoon/evening? Couldn't even see tail lights ahead of me. Thank god nobody did anything stupid.

 

He put up an ad an hour or two ago looking for guys with trailer interchange for local work. I don’t know what he pays either, it’s really not my game.
