If You're Working Dec.24th, We'd Like To Buy You A Holiday Dinner

I'll most likely be on my way back up north and past all the Flying Js by that time. but who knows

 

The LAST time I stopped at a LYING-HOOK for a "FREE" Holiday dinner was at the Rawlins stop several years ago.

The "meat" was PINK, so I assumed it was HAM. The "server" (who was the Restaurant Manager) rudely informed me that it was indeed TURKEY. As far as I know, any poultry that is PINK is UNCOOKED. So, I asked her to make sure it was cooked. She took the plate back into the kitchen and.....well, I am not exactly sure what she did with it, but she brought it back a few minutes later. It was STILL PINK. So I again asked her to "cook" it. She snatched up the plate and threw the whole plate in the garbage can as she walked back into the kitchen.
Needless to say, I got NO "Holiday" dinner that year.
I haven't stopped there since, and haven't used ANY LYING HOOK since 1997.

Sounds good but we prefer Petro's. We have always had poor service and food at Flying J. Oops...maybe once, it was ok.
