    I hear mostly good things about Watkins Shepard and Look forward to maybe meeting some of you very soon. I recieved the call from Matt and Teresa.

    Advise:
    - Be sure you are confident enough to go from orientation to on your own...
    - Gather names and numbers of people here so you can ask ?s 24/7 when on the road...I found this invaluable at times...PM me for my info, if you'd like...
    - Pre-trip like it's a religious act...
    - Never think you can make it, KNOW!(I ripped a door off of a trailer not following my own advise)
    - Proficiency and confidence come with experience, not pressure...

    and

    Don't bet on horses...

    Being out of NC, get yourself a Rand Mcnally GPS! LTL will SUCK without it. Once you get a system down with planning and your gps, those LTL runs will be cake runs with a big paycheck at the end.

    BTW... Do those loads run all over or are there more or less specific areas they run too... ie- to which states (NE, midwest, South East, West) or No telling in those regards?:biggrin_25524:

    they go everywhere, most are tx and east but they have ltl it almost every state.
