A better career move may be slinging burgers at a fast food joint. You came here acting like you want advice but want to use whatever advice you are given to validate stupidity. "They have to pay you if you are misclassified." What? WHAT? 1099, whether lease purchase or true O/O is a contract between businesses. You are a business agreeing to work with another business. Any disagreement can be resolved, not in a Labor Department, but in civil court. If anything you sign hasn't been vetted by an attorney, you are on your own.
You obviously have no training in business and haven't run a business, yet you want to fill in the gaps in your knowledge by guessing and hoping.
Please consider fast food. You won't end up stranded in Wyoming broke, cold, and hungry.

    snowlauncher and Lonesome Thank this.

We read horror stories daily, about drivers being screwed by these type of companies! Please don't fall for their scams.

Maybe SuperEgo got scared by all those class action lawsuits and decided to change their ways. It's been a couple months since someone complained.
(Please don't take that seriously ;))
If I were looking to take a break to get a few things off my MVR, I'd look at dock work or warehouse work. Hell, maybe even work a night shift at a local Target store unloading trailers, restocking, etc. before I'd say "MN89, here I come"

mjd4277, Lonesome and omaharj Thank this.
