I've never forgot a pallet jack.
Just stick something in the door track to remind you.
The pallet jack chock, a load lock, etc.
    Reminds you every time !

Lock it up so it doesn't end up leaving the dock.

I hate linehaul. Doing 5-6 hundred miles a day then driving home 30-60 minutes after? No thanks I did it for a very short time. I was doing graveyard shift and never saw my family so it might as well have been OTR. I prefer lots of stops and not driving more than 30-60 minutes at a time. I'd rather do ten stops driving 2-300 miles. I'm more of an 'on duty' trucker than 'driving'. Guess I'm not the norm here.

Need specifics on what is giving you trouble.

Don't have time right now, but i have technical details i can share that might make the job easier.

BTW, here we have mostly palletized freight. Although today just sucked; Sometimes it's unavoidable.

When I did P&D I always felt like I either kicked ### or got my ### handed to me. I either won the game or walked away defeated.

Same here. I enjoy getting in and out of the truck far more than the four sometimes five hours drive to and fro San Antone and the RGV.

Ive even commented that if I had to go back to driving otr distances tomorrow it'd be a rough couple of weeks haha.

Hey tomorrow's a new day, and all that crap. Never feel defeated, just temporarily frustrated...:)

I did something similar. Started as a concrete labor... Realized pretty quickly it'd ruin my back. Then did ready-mix then flatbed. When I went looking for another job I made sureit said 100% no touch. A bit boring at times but on days like yesterday Real feel in Chicago was 115F I thank my stars that all I have to do is sit in the truck for five hours in the ac waiting for them to unload me.

You'd love my job then. Most miles I've even done is 385 in a day. And I felt like I was otr lol. Most days it's 150-225 miles. Average length of hual is about 60 miles.

As the Klingons say, there is no shame in falling to a superior enemy.

If the circumstances were beyond my control, this too shall pass.
