You could get a part time gig at McDonalds and make what you are now. You should be making over $20/hr with what responsibilities you have; if you're still working for this guy on March 1, you only have yourself to blame.
I'm a Dispatcher, I think Im being under paid, what do you think?

Hi Andy, while I also think this is a little lean, I've never thought of dispatching to be a higher paying job, with exceptions, of course. ( regardless of what you may see in "What they make" sites) The fact that you work from home is a big plus as driving a car and all the expenses and hassles that go along with commuting, is certainly worth something. However, it seems you won't go any farther with this job, and you do have the qualifications to get a better dispatching job with a bigger company. In all my years of trucking, I've been in contact with lots of dispatchers, and can't remember ANY of them making more than a driver, and they soon moved on, so just from experience, I wouldn't expect to get rich being a dispatcher. Best of luck.

Really if you want a blunt opinion and a realistic one, here it is.
Stop wasting your time and quit. Do not give a notice, walk away from it now.
You should be making $200 a day, not a week.
I know you will use the excuse that you "love" the work and all of that but so what if you do. There comes a point where you either have to starve or to find something to pay the bills. I loved what I used to do in my former profession, still would love to go back to that but I can't so I drive for a living and have several trucks making back the money I lost out of my retirement funds, I wasn't being unrealistic to change careers and don't regret it because I am ahead of the game now. So stop making excuses, screw him and get out of the situation without looking back.bubbagumpshrimp and Andy.T Thank this. -
I appreciate yours and hammer116 feedback but this thread was really to confirm what I already knew but wanted to hear it from you guys and I'm not whining because I'm already taking the steps to get away from this "greedy company", Trust me hammer116, I'll be way gone before march 1

March 1st huh...you only talk to him Fridays? Finish Friday and let him ride out the next week wonderin why he can't get ahold of you and why his trucks are sitting while you apply for jobs. Pretend like you want a change not like youre a tool in the owners toolbox.bubbagumpshrimp, Andy.T and Cetane+ Thank this. -
what are you talking about? "he can't get a hold of me and his trucks are sitting while I'm apply for work'' where did you get that from lol Get your story straight and read before you assume, they get their load and never sit waiting for one because of me and I constantly call him and hardly get a response and I apply for other jobs not because I'm disloyal but because I cant survive with what I'm getting paid, if you don't understand that I don't know what to tell you...
