he’s looking for a sucker to make money off of, and with the way rates are Im sure they are dropping like fries since they aren’t smart enough to run their own show , time to cull the herd. Hopefully these “dispatch” services go under too so I don’t get 15 different phone calls a day from all of them

I won’t even get into the factoring part….

I have One of the mega brokerages I use for return loads when I cover something different on 3 day quick pay, but I can probably count on my fingers the number of brokered full truck loads I do a year, everyone else is 10-21 days,

Actually there is less than 700,000.
Here is IMPORTANT advice - BECOME a DRIVER, work for someone who will let you learn and then form a business plan based on those you talk to who are owner operators.

Except there’s no contract on it, and I can just as easily swap them to 21 or 30 day (whatever they are) pay as well and keep the extra 1%, just not worried about it for the handful of loads I do for them, and there’s no 3rd party

Because as long as they don't identify themselves as a brokerage and rather as a dispatch service they can double broker all the loads they want to, under the carriers authority... Why anybody would sign up for that is beyond me... And in my opinion anybody who supports dispatch services and uses them is part of the problem out here... If you have your own authority and need a dispatcher then put one on the payroll. No reason to use these dispatching services when all they are doing is imitating a brokerage without actually going thru the process and being compliant and regulated as real brokerages are... Its a loophole in the regulations and i think it should be stopped, because they offer nothing of value... I give them an earful everytime they call me and not one of them understands english very well let alone speaks it to where i can even halfway understand what they are saying..but i can go on google translate and cuss them out in hindi which they seem to be very offended when you do that to them.. Tells you everything you need to know... Im conviced most are not even living here in the u.s.
