Well, Prime has a logo/slogan "Driven by the best" It isn't because thier drivers are that good, it's because they are quite picky about who they hire. Just the mention of Prime, and they aren't hiring as many people at the moment leads people to believe you were trolling.

 

Oh no! At least it wasn't as malicious as having it thrown at your nose. It was an honest mistake.

 

No pity parties. You screw up, you own it and you keep going. You don’t flop on the ground and wallow in self pity. GET UP. I shall not pity you.

 

I was thinking they guy just got up, but now I wonder.

Maybe I have a thick skull, but challenging "the man" is educational. Probably going to get slapped down a few times, but better for it.

 

People are going to do dumb things. That’s fine. But the whole “wallowing in self pity” act is simply disgusting behavior. He put the pity party in his title.
The dumb actions, the stupid excuses pale in comparison. Never under any circumstances is a pity party acceptable behavior.

 

I might have said the same thing if it was me. "i messed up" isn't as bad as "I got screwed" or "it wasn't my fault". Maybe more a question of what do i do now? Well, until Prime was mentioned...

 

eh my driving record is 3 pages long. i had several speeding and unsafe start tickets, not showing caution with pedestrians present, seat belt, you name it. i was in court twice over traffic violations. speeding: 67/35, 81/55 stuff like that. it all cooled off around 2005. i’ve had a speeding ticket here and there since, but nothing crazy. i have 2 dings on the commercial side: no truck road violations. 1 ticket and 1 warning.
