Thanks Craig! When are you coming back to Maverick? I've enjoyed your videos while you have been out. I'm looking into getting into Vlogging and your videos on cameras were very helpful. You seem to be recovering well from your heart attack.
I'm a Maverick driver running RMW (regional midwest) if you have a question

It's been a loooong two months. I've felt great and my cardiologist is very upbeat, but the DOT regs require me to be out 2 months from the date of my heart attack. I've been hitting the rehab gym M,W,F and very active on my off days. I have a stress test next week, then if all the paper work gets done I'll be heading to NLR to test out the first Monday in March.
I know getting set up to vlog takes money, but it's rewarding and a lot of fun. Go for it!tony97905, 84 West, SlimPickens and 2 others Thank this. -
Thanks for the update Craig. Glad you are recovering well.

Do the trucks at Maverick have inverters or APUs? Also, do they come with fridges ?
-
Yes they have inverters. Most of the trucks have fridges. They began getting fridges in the 2015 models and all since have them. Very few trucks with no fridges left and those will be phasing out soon I would imagine.BlueThunderr Thanks this.

As has already been stated, almost all of the trucks have refrigerators. All of the trucks have inverters, and all of the trucks have EPUs. They are powered by a battery bank.BlueThunderr Thanks this.

How do you guys like running with Maverick ? Are they your first company ?
-
I don't work for Maverick anymore. I moved out of their hiring area but otherwise would have probably stayed. It is a good company. They are honest and will do what they say. Many have made a long career there. If you are on facebook check out the Maverick Drivers Q&A page. I am still in that group even though no longer there. Best wishes to you!BlueThunderr Thanks this.

They were my first company, and I have no complaints. Anything they’ve told me they would do, they have followed through on without fail. I am not micromanaged, and they keep our equipment in great condition. There is never an argument if something needs to be addressed. Their training is exceptional in my opinion. You can search some of my posts in other threads about Maverick for additional thoughts.BlueThunderr Thanks this.
