Is it possible to run M-F with Maverick? I realize it would be less miles = less pay, but I would be ok with that. Just wondered how flexible they are with working with you on that sort of thing? I worship twice on Sunday and it would be hard for me to leave out on a Sunday.
I'm a Maverick driver running RMW (regional midwest) if you have a question

For most jobs at Maverick it would be difficult. They do have jobs occasionally that are dedicated depending on where you live that work that way. Their regional flatbed jobs do get home most weekends but that might be Friday night through Sunday am one week and another week it might be Saturday pm through Monday AM. Best wishes and hope you can find something that works for you! God bless!weatheravid Thanks this.

Well said Truckermania! When I was on the Home Depot account in Montgomery, IL I was guaranteed home Friday sometime through Monday morning. They were really good with working with drivers since the division was so small. All depends on where you live.
84 West and Truckermania Thank this. -

Is Tulsa Ok a good spot to be for Maverick regional?
-
I would think so. You can call them to check for sure but I don't see why not.

I believe so. Maverick goes into Catoosa a lot with steel. Ft. Smith isn't too far away and usually I've ended up deadheading there after delivering to Catoosa. From Ft. Smith you could go anywhere with steel bar. When I was in training at Maverick my trainer lived in Muskogee, he was home every weekend for years.

Ah yes the port of Catoosa, I deliver there sometimes. I passed Mavericks facility Saturday coming back from Blytheville, wanted to stop but figured no one was around, was actually hauling motor parts from nucor Hickman, which produces coils.

Lightfoot71, I don't know your situation and what you are doing now, but I think Maverick is seeing tremendous growth and opportunities. If you're interested in flatbed, it's probably a good choice. With experience you will likely see a sign on bonus and only have to go through securement training. It depends on what you're doing now and how happy you are with the situation. Good luck! Craig
