dont worry, theres a job here for ya, drivers leave just about as fast as new ones come in, lots of them who leave move on to bigger and better things so its not like they are all quitting because it sucks here, its a really decent company to work for.

    eljay, are you portuguese?

so anyway, been putting in some long hours recently and salvaged a slow week, had safety training for conoco philips thursday. I been really workin on the safety lately, i wear my seat belt and safety glasses, chock blocks and cones etc. etc......i still drive pretty fast but only when the road is clear but thats the way ive always driven, its not like i'm a mad man on the road.

i'm almost at 6 months now and its flew by. i wonder how long till i'm not a stone cold rookie, i say a year.

the fun is at WORK eljay, this isnt a vacation or a summer camp and maybe when you work a few days, you will realize that 4 p.m. is some people's 4 a.m........i'll make sure to come knockin around that time, the fun around here is work and little sleep with the key emphasis on WORK AND LITTLE SLEEP.

i walked into dispatch where the supervisor was filling in and i said i'm not sure what he has goin on today but whatever the hardest job is, THATS THE JOB I WANT.

no bars, no walmart, no mall, nothing.........JUST WORK AND LITTLE SLEEP AND A 4 A.M. KNOCK COMING.
