lol working at a fast food is easy work, maybe fast pace but freaking easy. I used to be an Executive Chef and worked my way up, you want to talk about hard work in the food industry try fine dining and working 12-15 hours a day doing that not just 8 hours flipping a burger and asking someone if they would like fries with their burger.

And half the time the nitwits in fast food cant even get your order right or even assemble a burrito or burger correctly, try doing that in a normal restaurant. Only "fast" food restaurant where I believe employees work their butts off is dennys, I always chose someone from dennys when hiring and I only hired 1 person from a mcdonalds before and never did it again, there is no work ethic in most of them and they think the day is hard and tiring after just a few short hours.

Huh. I get paid for almost everything I do. Driving, loading, unloading, breakdown, detention, taking trailers to wash rack, picking them up and more. If I didn't get paid I wouldn't do it. I understand you have to start somewhere but there are enough jobs out there in the industry that pay decent wages if you have the clean cdl, background, work references and history and excellent work ethic to offer the employer. Those that can, usually do.

The fast food comparison was a tongue-in-cheek comment and I indicated as much. Simply expounding on what the op wrote.
